On facing your fears, part two

There was something else I wanted to write about today but I completely forgot what that was supposed to be, so instead I’m going to shamefully brag about how I took a phone call today despite being absolutely skeeved out by phone calls from strangers. It’s a silly fear with some very real roots in childhood/early adulthood trauma and goshdarn if I’m not going to do my best to get over it.

I was pleasant and polite and everything. If I had cookies in the house, I’d so deserve one right now.
